CHILDREN’S SPORT CONNECTION PARTNERS WITH THE
NASSAU COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE POLICE ACTIVITY LEAGUE
TO HELP KIDS AFFECTED BY HURRICANE SANDY

Many children in the Long Beach and surrounding areas whose families were devastated by Hurricane Sandy lost not only their homes and personal belongings, but the opportunity to enjoy the childhood activities that they once cherished. The Long Beach Martin Luther King Center which was a source of joy to the community was also damaged leaving these children limited or no options to enjoy their sporting activities.

As Long Beach and the surrounding areas rebuild, CSC along with the NCPD and PAL join in collecting gently used and new equipment to distribute to the L.B.M.L.K. Community Center and surrounding areas at the grand re-opening of the Center on August 31, 2013.
